Emily Vickers

Emily Vickers is focusing on Greenhouse Gas reduction and sustainability planning through her internship at The Sustainability Alliance. In 2023, she earned a Master of Science in Environmental Science & Environmental Management from Oklahoma State University (Tulsa), preceded by a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy & Economics from the University of Tulsa. Currently, she works as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Technician at Kelvion, Inc. She has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the environmental field through completing several internships, to include AAON's EHS office, the U.S. Dept of Energy's Clean Cities programs,  INCOG's Transportation Planning Dept, and NASA JPL's Climate Science Center. She served as an Americorps member at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. While studying Climate Change abroad in Vietnam, Morocco, Bolivia, and Peru, Emily witnessed the impact our daily actions make on a global scale. Emily is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and justice and has been involved in many student and community organizations that promote sustainability.
