RECHARGE RECAPPED: 8th Annual Fundraiser at Cain's Ballroom

Tulsa's most famous concert hall was ablaze with music on September 4th, 2025, as ticket holders and last-minute walk ups stood in line to enter the party of the season: RECHARGE Roots and Boots. This was the 8th Annual Fundraiser hosted by The Sustainability Alliance and raised more funds than ever before to support the growth of sustainability education, tools, and action for the 2026 year.

On stage, Outlaw 51 played songs both new and loved to bring the boots out on the infamous wooden floor. The buffet catered by Mac's BBQ displayed treasures like vegan BBQ Jackfruit, shredded beef from Prairie Creek Farms, and blueberry cobbler. A 16 foot spread of cheeses, meats, nuts, and fruits garnished the grazing table by Charcuteray.

Leftovers, paper napkins, and bamboo cutlery from the food and bar areas were composted through onsite collection bins provided by Scraps Composting, while cans and bottles were sorted into recycling bins managed by American Waste Control.

Guests did more than dance and eat, they also made a difference while having a boot-scootin' time! Some competed in a TerraScore sustainability challenge, logging habit forming actions. Others strutted their boots for a chance to win the best boots contest or tried their luck playing Heads and Tails and the Wine Pull activity. All checked out the incredible items displayed for the green ticket raffle!
